DCN Trails Cross-Country Ski Experience
February 4th, 11th, and 18th
Learn a low-impact, aerobic winter activity with a friendly atmosphere in the trail community! If you’ve never been cross-country skiing, finding the equipment, and figuring out where to go and what to wear can seem intimidating, let alone, how you actually stand up and safely move on cross-country skis.
Participants are welcome to attend one, two, or all three dates. By the end of the event, you will know the basics of classic cross-country skiing, learn about where to go, and trail etiquette, and leave feeling prepared to experience the wonders of local U.P. trails with your friends and family!

Little Bay de Noc
Connecting to Lake Michigan, the Little Bay de Noc is the cornerstone of the Upper Peninsula area. With a soft and open coastline, several parks, beaches, campgrounds, & docks, and it’s trademarked lighthouse, the Little Bay de Noc is definitely a sight worth seeing when visiting the area.

Fishing Culture
Many residents in Gladstone and the surrounding areas enjoy frequent fishing, and we pride ourselves on integrating that into what we do. In addition to having plenty of space for parking boats, we also have a bait & tackle shop onsite as well as a boat launch nearby for convenience. After your time on the bay feel free to use our year round fish cleaning station so that you can bring your catches back to the motel and have an outdoor meal using our picnic area and outdoor prep area.
